Bio

柯明| KE Ming

Ke Ming, born in 1980 in Huangshi, Hubei, graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Hubei Academy of Fine Arts in 2005, and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Munich from 2005 to 2007. He has worked at the Hubei Art Museum, Shanhe Group, and United Art Museum. He is currently an art consultant at Shimenfeng Memorial Park and Zhi Art Museum, and a professional artist.

Personal Statement: I believe that a good artist is born to be like a bird in this world, not seeking food for survival but flying to spread seeds and pleasant tunes, because nature has already prepared the best food for us.

Artistic Direction: I have always pursued a unique artistic vision and a romantic humanistic concern, paying constant attention to the behavior patterns and living conditions of people in the current social system, as well as the social and historical causes behind this state. Ultimately, I aim to create moments that touch people’s hearts through art actions or works.
